Mirage

I don’t understand.
What was it all about?
Was it only me, again?
Living in castles of fancy
Amusing myself
But empty
Got attached to a silly mirage
When I was already
In the oasis.
Yet, why do I still
Keep thinking about it?
But this, like all mirages
Will pass eventually.
